**10. ONLINE MARKETING**
**10.1 DoubleClick by Google**
This website uses the online marketing tool DoubleClick by Google, operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("DoubleClick").
DoubleClick uses cookies to display relevant ads to users, improve campaign performance reports, or prevent a user from seeing the same ads multiple times. Google records which ads are displayed in which browser via a cookie ID, preventing multiple displays of the same ad. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in optimally marketing our website per Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO.
Additionally, DoubleClick can capture so-called conversions related to ad requests via cookie IDs. This occurs, for example, when a user sees a DoubleClick ad and later visits the advertiser's website with the same browser and makes a purchase. According to Google, DoubleClick cookies do not contain personal data.
Your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to Google's server due to the marketing tools used. We have no influence over the extent and further use of the data collected by Google through this tool and therefore inform you according to our knowledge: By integrating DoubleClick, Google receives the information that you have accessed the relevant part of our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a Google service, Google can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Google or logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will discover and store your IP address.
If you want to opt-out of this tracking procedure, you can disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain www.googleadservices.com, https://www.google.de/settings/ads, which will be deleted when you delete your cookies. Alternatively, you can inform yourself about the setting of cookies and make settings on the Digital Advertising Alliance website at www.aboutads.info. In relation to the data of the advertising campaigns, we can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are. Our goal is to show you advertising that is of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you, and to achieve a fair calculation of advertising costs.
The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an ad placed by Google. These cookies are small text files stored on your computer system. These cookies generally expire after 30 days and do not serve personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.
If you do not want to participate in the tracking, you can block this use by disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie in your internet browser's user settings. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including the shortened IP address) is generally transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the "_anonymizeIp()" extension, which ensures that IP addresses are anonymized by truncation and thus excludes direct personal reference.
